When painting a car, how do you paint a cars plastic bumpers. Should I apply primer on them? ?

hat type of paint is needed? Can i use the same paint as for the body panels? When painting a car, how do you paint a cars plastic bumpers. Should I apply primer on them? ?
You do the bumpers the same as the rest of the carWhen painting a car, how do you paint a cars plastic bumpers. Should I apply primer on them? ?
You can use all the same primer, paint, sealer, etc. When mixing these items for flexible body parts, such as the bumpers, you add a flex agent. It allows the paint and primer to bend without chipping or peeling. You could use the flex agent in all the paint for the whole car, but is an unnecessary expense.

Talk to the paint salesperson about what additives are needed for your brand of paint.
You can use same paint as for rest of the body but add Flex Additive to paint when your ready to spray plastic parts or any other flexible parts. Also if your going to prime make sure you add Flex Additive to that as well. Follow the mixing ratio for best result.
