Is there any way to take off Krylon paint off a metal/plastic surface?

I painted something a while back, but now I wish to take off the paint and maybe re-sell it (the paint is scratched off in some spots from natural stuff) so I'm wondering if there is a way to take it off.Is there any way to take off Krylon paint off a metal/plastic surface?
You are either going to scratch off the rest or sand it with sandpaper to smoothen it out and put on some more Krylon(repaint it). The only magic there is.Is there any way to take off Krylon paint off a metal/plastic surface?
Spray some Easy Off oven cleaner(foaming type) over it while it sits in a plastic tub or similar. Use gloves and an old toothbrush to scrub off paint. Rinse off and repeat as necessary. Do this outside or in good ventilation.
Sand it or use paint stripper.
