What kind of paint can you use on plastic tile?

My kitchen has this ugly gray plastic tile half way up the walls. I cant afford to rip it down and replace it with anything so I thought maybe I could paint it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.What kind of paint can you use on plastic tile?
Most oil based paints %26amp; latex paints don't adhere very well to plastic, however, if you wash the tile down with trisodium phosphate (TSP) %26amp; rinse it well, you can use several cans of spray primer.





The solvent based primer adheres to the plastic. Once dry, you can paint your tile with latex paint.
