I hate to sound like the grumpy old grandpa I AM, but: ';Cheap price gives you a CHEAP looking end result !!';
Now, I've been using Testors enamels since 1974, and their acrylics since they came out two years ago: http://www.testors.com/category/136638/A鈥?/a>
I've also use Tamiya since about 1990 (I was in Japan at the time): http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/categor鈥?/a>
The KEY is buying GOOD brushes, taking CARE of your brushes and paints: clean the brushes, and keep the lids clean and tight on the paints. ALWAYS mix (shake your paint) for at least a minute. AND have the correct thinners on hand.
GOOD LUCK
