How to Tint or Paint Clear Plastic?

Basically i wanna either tint or paint the plastic covers of the interior lights in my car. So they look blue when lights are on. I need some kind of transparent paint that'll let the light shine through or a blue tint. If you can think of another way i'm all ears. ThxHow to Tint or Paint Clear Plastic?
You can buy opaque paint markers, they dry translucent so the light will shine thru.

There are paints out now specifically for plastic. However, I don't think it would be opaque enough for what you want. Go to a shop that does window tinting and see if they can't help you out.
