What kind of permanent marker or paint will work well on a child's plastic bucket?

I am having a party with 10 little kids, and am giving plastic buckets with shovels, and other favors in the bucket. I would like to paint, or preferably write on the bucket each of their names. i would definitely say sharpie! that is made for these kind of things..you should get the big ones -- like the huge ones.. they are stronger than the little ones cuz they cover more area at the same time
