What's a good kind of paint to use for painting plastic.?

I've been using Acrylic paint, because it's easy to mix and clean up, but I've noticed that it ends up peeling off really easy... just wanted some recommendations of other kinds of paints that would be good for plastics... (i also use sculpey alot too, if u also have any suggestions for that)What's a good kind of paint to use for painting plastic.?
Model paints are really good to use...Testors and Model Masters are both good brands.





Depending on what you are painting, another option is to *lightly* sand your object and then spray the finished/painted object with a sealer; a plain gloss or matte finish spray will do fine and are easy to purchase at any hobby or craft store or even your local walmart!

';No-Prep Metal Paints'; from DecoArt. They hang onto the plastic very well and the company recommends them for use of plastic.
try washing the parts first to get the mold release off and try polycarbonate paint it cleans up with water get it at your hobby shop
Acrylic paint peels easily could due to the smooth surface. You could try using fine sand paper to lightly sand the area you want to paint. See if it stay.
If you are using artist acrylic paint, it does not have the conditioners in it to bond with the plastic. You can use a plastic conditioner or use paint for plastic. My favorite is Model Master, they have a wide pallet and are acrylic so they clean up with water. Have never had a problem with cracking or peeling with this paint.
