Can you paint a plastic bowling ball and still use it?

i dont like the design on my plastic (nonreactive) bowling ball and i just want to know whether you can paint it then use it again just like you normally would. i know you would have to plug the holes so no paint would get in, but could i do this? if so what type of paint should i use?Can you paint a plastic bowling ball and still use it?
Nope, any external substances (except ball cleaner, polish, etc) would render it illegal for use.

You can order a custom designed plastic ball by On The Ball. http://ontheballbowling.com/shop/0/Can you paint a plastic bowling ball and still use it?
I wouldn't suggest it. It looks really ugly after the first time you use it and it messes up the alley. seriously, don't paint it.
any paint you use would prob start coming off after the 1st you use it

it would also prob leave marks on the ally floor and you would be kicked out
probably yeah.but if you use it to early the paint would come off cause it ist'nt proparly dry hope this helps(;
