No. Isn't that the whole point of having them in plastic? You don't have to keep painting them every year to prevent them rotting/looking shabby etc.
Yes you can but no you should'nt.....Paint seldom adheres to plastic for long and in 6 months time you will stand outside your home and ask yourself why you did'nt listen to the advice you were given...

In 6 months it will have cracked and flaked...

Take a look at any building site where the meter boxes have been painted, they look bloody awful....

Dont do it....
sure you can paint it, you can paint a turd if you want to but all you'll end up with is a turd coverd in paint!

dont be a fool, painting these will last about 6 months... if you dont beleve me read all the answers above!
yes, 1st wash with TSP or similar product rinse thoroughly and let dry. Then apply a bonding primer, preferably spray, then two coats of good exterior quality paint. I painted my gutters 5 years ago and they still look great.
Depends how much work you are willing to put into it. Sand down the plastic surfaces to give them a key, then choose a flexible paint, oil based. But in the long run it will peel and you'll have to do it again. If you can afford it, replace these items with one whose colour is not offensive.
The unnanimous answer to your question would be a No.

But that does not mean that you cant paint them. Logically,

why do you want to, and if the reason is because they look tatty, you can clean them with a special chemical, but again would you want to. The Fascias and guttering are quite cheap to replace, the windows are not. Also what is the reason you want to paint them. Can you be more specific.
yes you can.

BUT you don't want to.

when the paint you paint it with flakes / fades or similar ypu cant rub it , burn it, paint stripper, heat gun, it to remove it.

That is why you dont want to do it
Well you can but I wouldn't advise it because of the amount of work needed and the expense. The most important thing is the preparation. The plastic must be scrupulously clean, not just from dirt but any hint of grease. This means using proprietary products to do so.

Then you will have to use appropriate paint that will adhere to plastic, not just ordinary gloss. I believe it is quite expensive.

I question whether it would be worth it.
If you don't need to paint them don't, because once you have done it, there is no going back and you'll have to keep doing it every x amount of years.

Painting plastic was an issue that was resolved 30 years ago when I was training. It was considered a problem because technically there was and is no specific primer for plastic. The official way was considered to be, key the surface with steel wool and then apply two coats of gloss paint. Preferably you apply the second coat of gloss around 24 hours after the first, because although the first is touch dry it is not fully dry and as it pulls air from the atmosphere to dry it will pull the second coat onto it to form a stronger bond.

But you would only paint plastic if it was aged and unsightly.
if you can get them off the house and get that plastic spray paint you could paint them..we painted our shutters last year..and they turned out great..but we were able to remove them...that spray paint is made for plastic...but it would be alot of work....especially since they are window frames..i wouldnt attempt this project to be honest with you
