How can i get paint off of plastic moulding in my bathroom without stripping the wood color off of it?

i am redoing my bathroom and took the wall paper off the walls but there is paint on all the moulding. i tried to scrub it but the wood colored paint started coming off.How can i get paint off of plastic moulding in my bathroom without stripping the wood color off of it?
In the long run, you may find that removing the painted baseboard and installing new is quicker and better looking. Just a thought.How can i get paint off of plastic moulding in my bathroom without stripping the wood color off of it?
If the paint was water based latex you can get it off with hot water and a rag and a little elbow grease.this will make sure you just take the paint off
try rubbing alcohol. hope it works
